Egyptian actress Yasmine Raees celebrated on her Instagram Stories the selection of her film “Factory Girl” among the top 25 films released in the first quarter of the 21st century. The recognition came from the Cairo International Film Festival in partnership with the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) and the Egyptian Film Critics Association, marking the 100th anniversary of FIPRESCI.

Yasmine Raees is the only Egyptian actress of her generation to have her film included in this prestigious list, highlighting her distinguished position in Arab cinema.

About “Factory Girl”

The film stars Hany Adel, Salwa Khattab, among others, written by Wisam Suleiman and directed by Mohamed Khan. It tells the story of Hiam, a 21-year-old girl who works in a garment factory like other girls in her impoverished neighborhood, and experiences a love that challenges societal rigidity and obstacles.

Meanwhile, Yasmine is filming “Al-Sitt Lama”, starring Yousra, Dorra, and Donia Sami.
