Sireen Abou Nohor Upset by Offensive Criticism

Sireen Abou Nohor "We are living in the end times… and evil has become rampant"

Lebanese artist Sireen Abou Nohor expressed her frustration with the wave of hateful and malicious comments on social media, describing these platforms as a “real hell and an open arena for evil and hypocrisy.”

In a heartfelt post shared via Instagram Stories, Sireen wrote: “Someone asked: Who are we living with?… We are living with monsters who harm and destroy the good souls within us under the guise of freedom of opinion, taking pleasure in their achievements with devilish laughter.” She added that daily exposure to social media reveals hidden faces of rapists, murderers, and false witnesses—yet they remain outside prison walls, trapped in what she calls the “smartphone prison,” controlled by “fools.”

She further stated: “We are living in the end times, and evil has become rampant. Hell is empty, and we live among them. The contagion has spread… many have become a reflection of the devil. Save us, O Lord.”

Widespread Reaction

Sireen’s words sparked widespread reactions among her followers, who were divided between supporting her honesty and criticizing her harsh tone. This stance comes as Sireen and her husband Fared Rahma have been targeted by a flood of harsh and mocking comments about their private life, prompting them recently to avoid sharing family details online to protect their privacy and that of their children.

It was evident that this time, Abou Nohor chose to respond firmly, setting a clear boundary against what she described as “absolute evil” residing in some people’s hearts under the guise of entertainment or chasing online trends.
