The White House responds to Ariana Grande’s criticism using lyrics from her songs

Global star Ariana Grande, the singer and actress, has sparked a new political controversy after publicly criticizing former U.S. President Donald Trump and his supporters, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Grande, 32, reshared a post on Instagram Stories questioning the quality of life under Trump’s administration. The post asked Trump supporters whether their lives had improved, whether their purchases had become cheaper, whether their health insurance costs had decreased, and whether they were truly happier. It also criticized the deportation campaigns carried out by the immigration authorities and the decline in freedom of expression, referencing the recent controversy surrounding the Jimmy Kimmel show.
“Hold Your Tears” The White House responded through spokesperson Kush Desai, who issued a statement filled with references to Grande’s songs. The statement began with: “Hold your tears, Ariana,” directly quoting one of her famous songs.
Desai claimed that Trump “ended the inflation crisis left by Joe Biden” and achieved “trillions in new investments.” He also referred to a recent executive order by Trump that enabled the Federal Trade Commission to pursue Ticketmaster, alluding to Grande’s fans struggling with high concert ticket prices. The statement concluded with the phrase “As if by magic,” referencing another of her songs, and ended with: “Get well soon, Ariana!”
