Zarqa Governorate witnessed a tragic incident a few days ago, in which a man in his thirties lost his life after being assaulted inside a barbershop in the Al-Hussein neighborhood.

According to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate, the young man was transferred to Zarqa Governmental Hospital last Wednesday to receive treatment after being severely beaten with bare hands by another individual. Despite medical efforts, he passed away on Friday evening due to his injuries.

Public Security confirmed in a statement to “Roya TV” that the assailant had been arrested and referred to the judiciary, and has been placed in a correctional and rehabilitation center pending investigations.

The news left a deep impact among the victim’s friends and acquaintances, who mourned him with heartfelt words, recalling his kindness and good character, amid growing public discontent over the recurrence of such tragic incidents that claim the lives of young people without reason.
