Egyptian actress Donia Sami, a close friend of Rahma Ahmed, revealed that the latter remains under medical observation following a sudden health crisis, with well-wishers praying for her speedy recovery.

Donia Sami explained in press statements that Rahma is suffering from body infections, particularly affecting her kidneys, in addition to allergies. Medical tests also showed an infection that requires ongoing treatment and careful monitoring.

Severe Fatigue and Loss of Balance Rahma Ahmed was rushed to a private hospital in Cairo after experiencing severe fatigue and loss of balance. She received intensive medical care before her condition improved and she was transferred to a medium-care unit.

Amid circulating reports suggesting liver enlargement, Rahma clarified in press statements that her health issues are related to her kidneys. This was confirmed by the head of the Actors’ Syndicate, Ashraf Zaki, who emphasized that reports about liver problems are incorrect and confirmed that she is receiving proper medical care under a specialized team’s supervision.

Notable Works Rahma Ahmed has appeared in numerous drama projects during 2024 and 2025, most notably in the Ramadan series “80 Baku” as Abir, and “Al Captain” as Sahar, in addition to portraying Zahra in “Ahd Anis”. She also made a guest appearance in the 2024 series “Ashghal Shaqqa” as Hadiya, and continued her famous role as Marbouha in the eighth season of “El-Kabeer Awy” in the same year.
