Heartbreaking Incident… She Played Outside Her Home in Ain Al-Basha, Then Left Without Goodbye – Photo

Social media platforms remain overwhelmed with grief and sorrow following the death of little Rahma Ayyad from Ain Al-Basha on Tuesday, after being stung by a scorpion considered one of the most dangerous in Jordan.
Her toys and schoolbooks were placed in her room, but she is no longer there to play with them or continue her studies, leaving behind a painful emptiness in her home and in the hearts of her family.
Rahma was rushed to Prince Hussein Hospital in Al-Baqa’a, where a medical team of pediatricians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists worked to save her life. She was admitted to intensive care and given the antivenom, as her loved ones prayed desperately for her recovery — but death was swifter.
The onset of symptoms The tragedy unfolded outside her home in Amman, when she suddenly experienced severe pain, seizures, and acute shortness of breath accompanied by nausea and vomiting. She was immediately transferred to the hospital, where doctors reported she arrived in critical condition, suffering from violent convulsions and oxygen deficiency. She had to be sedated and intubated to assist her breathing.
Despite all efforts, little Rahma passed away, casting a shadow of heartbreak over her family and the local community. Her photos from the hospital spread widely across social media, breaking the hearts of all who saw them.
Al-Rumman School mourns its student In a deeply emotional statement, Al-Rumman Secondary School mourned the loss of their student Rahma. On its official Facebook page, the school’s principal, Dr. Ferial Al-Adwan, along with the teaching and administrative staff, wrote:
“With hearts full of faith in God’s will, yet torn by pain and eyes filled with tears, we mourn our beloved student: Rahma Ayyad Al-Zallam – Grade 4. Her sudden departure has left us with a wound that cannot heal and a loss that cannot be replaced, but it is the will of God that none can resist.
O Allah, make her a bird from the birds of Paradise. Place her among the prophets and the righteous in the highest ranks. Make her grave a garden from the gardens of Heaven, and grant her parents and family patience, peace, and faith in Your decree. Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return.”
Scorpion stings in Jordan are considered a medical emergency requiring immediate intervention. The Ministry of Health continues to urge caution and preventive measures in high-risk areas, confirming that antivenoms are available across hospitals in the kingdom to treat such cases.
