Boussy’s first comment after her release

The temporary crisis surrounding the Egyptian popular singer Boussy being detained at Cairo Airport and prevented from traveling has come to an end, as she left the prosecutor’s office on Tuesday after her legal team filed objections against previous court rulings against her.
In her first comment following her release, the singer posted a Reels video on her official Facebook page, accompanied by her famous song “Mesh Shayfeenhom” (“We Don’t See Them”), referencing the incident and its aftermath.
Many fans considered the clip a clear response to those who gossiped or celebrated her misfortune, especially as the lyrics emphasize ignoring those who are envious or jealous of successful people.
The lyrics of the song say: "We don’t see them / No matter what they say, we don’t hear them / Whoever leaves, leaves / Our door is open / And oh soul, after you, there’s another soul / We don’t care."
Ashraf Massoud, the lawyer representing Boussy’s ex-husband’s family, revealed the reason for her detention at Cairo International Airport, noting that it was due to pending court rulings against her in cases related to bounced checks.
Saad El Saghir Apologizes
Popular singer Saad El Saghir addressed a message to Boussy following her release and the resolution of her legal issues, after she filed objections to previous court rulings against her.
El Saghir expressed his full support for her and apologized for any past misunderstandings or offenses.
He stated in remarks: “I apologize to you in front of everyone. If I ever hurt or upset you, consider it a mistake, and I’m saying this publicly. I never intended to expose your late father or create a trend—I was genuinely trying to do good.”
He added: “I testify in front of everyone that you are a kind and respectful person. Boussy isn’t just a colleague; she’s like a sister, and we grew up together. From my heart, I say: you are the voice of Egypt and the best popular singer, and this isn’t new—I’ve always said it, even before any disagreement.”
