In a tragic incident that shook Jerash Governorate, 22-year-old Hamza Al-Qadri lost his life after falling victim to a brutal crime while performing his job as a money collector for an acquaintance working in the real estate and construction sector.
According to sources close to the victim’s family, Hamza had arranged a meeting with the man at one of his chalets in Jerash, where he was to receive gold jewelry worth 50,000 dinars. After collecting the payment, Hamza contacted his employer to confirm receipt of the agreed amount.
The perpetrator then lured Hamza to return. Upon his arrival, he was shot dead, and his body was thrown into a two-meter-deep pit and set on fire in a wooded area in an attempt to conceal the crime.

The statement added that investigations led to the identification of a suspect, who confessed to committing the crime. He admitted shooting Hamza and burning the body in an attempt to erase evidence, driven by his inability to pay a debt owed to Hamza’s employer.
