According to an informed source, the singer’s detention was carried out in execution of a decision issued by the Egyptian Public Prosecutor, which prohibits her from traveling due to three final court rulings against her that have not yet been enforced.

The Egyptian singer was taken to a police station to complete the necessary legal procedures and to initiate investigations related to the cases filed against her.

Boussi’s recent works

This development comes while Boussi was experiencing a period of notable artistic activity. She recently participated in performing the promotional song for the film Al-Shater, titled Al-Shaqawa, marking her first artistic collaboration with Moroccan star Saad Lamjarred.

The song, written by poet Tamer Hosny and composed by Aziz El Shafei, attracted significant public attention as it combines two of the most prominent voices in the Arab world.

Boussi was scheduled to perform a series of concerts in the coming period in several countries, including Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
