Screenwriter and director Mohamed Salah El-Azab announced that actress Rana Raees has withdrawn from completing her role in the film "Safah Al-Tajammu", which stars Ahmed El Fishawy, due to a health issue that required her to temporarily pause work to safeguard her well-being.
El-Azab shared a message of support for Rana Raees on his official Facebook page, expressing the cast and crew’s solidarity with her, stating: “The team of Safah Al-Tajammu wishes Rana Raees a speedy recovery and lasting health, hoping to collaborate on future projects.”

The film explores the psychological profile of a serial killer who preys on women, belonging to the psychological thriller genre—a theme approached from different perspectives worldwide. The cast includes several stars alongside Ahmed El Fishawy, such as Enas El Degheidy, Mariam El Gendy, Cynthia Khalifa, Aya Selim, and Rana Raees before her withdrawal. The film is produced by Ahmed El Sobky and marks the first directorial experience of writer Mohamed Salah El-Azab.
