Audio Recording Attributed to Fadl Shaker Ignites Social Media

Social media erupted in widespread discussion over the past few hours, particularly following the release of an audio recording of Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker, in which he criticized several Lebanese artists. The controversy was further fueled by statements from his son, Mohamed Shaker, directed at Ragheb Alama, coinciding with Lebanese actress Nadine Al Rassi retracting her harsh words against Shaker Sr.
In the audio recording, Fadl Shaker said: "Let all the Lebanese artists come forward while I stand alone, and let them show us what they can offer. Provision comes from God."
He added, addressing others: "Whether you are artists or not, you haven’t left me alone, and I continue with my modest abilities."
Mohamed Fadl Shaker Responds to Ragheb Alama
Mohamed Fadl Shaker responded on his social media accounts to Alama’s comments, stating: "I neither kill nor carry weapons," and asking, "When did my father ever kill anyone? Yes, he carried a weapon at a time when no one could protect him, but he did not kill, steal, or wrong anyone. We turned the page, but it seems the matter is not yet closed."
Shaker’s son also claimed that a coordinated campaign is targeting his father, led by a number of Lebanese artists and media figures, whom he described as "resentful," according to his statements.
