Inside a Carpet… Foul Smell Startles Residents of a Lebanese Village and Reveals a Shocking Discovery

The village of Kfar Yassine in the town of Tayr Debba in Lebanon witnessed a shocking incident that stirred fear among residents, after the
discovery of a decomposed woman’s body under mysterious circumstances.
Lebanese media reported that the body belongs to an Arab woman, approximately 33 years old, with no additional identifying information available, as no personal documents were found with her.
According to Lebanese security sources, the woman was found wrapped in a carpet and placed inside a “takhita” in an abandoned house in Kfar Yassine. Significant time had passed since her death, leading to decomposition and making it difficult to identify her features.
Foul odor The sources indicated that the house being closed and uninhabited facilitated leaving the body in the location until the foul smell revealed its presence, prompting residents to report the incident to the police.
Security forces and forensic teams arrived at the scene and began investigations to uncover the circumstances. It was revealed that the house had been rented by a Syrian individual who left approximately a month ago.
Sources also confirmed that authorities had received a missing person report for the woman some time ago, until her body was discovered on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
