Egyptian actor Ahmed El-Sakka revealed details of the recent crisis he went through after his separation from his former wife, media personality Maha El-Soghair, noting that the ordeal affected him both physically and mentally.

During a press conference, El-Sakka said: "Glory be to the One who changes hearts, it’s very possible to be sitting with someone one day and the next day they’re gone, but Maha and I never fought, cursed each other, or laid a hand on one another."

He added: "I will not accept any word spoken against her, and when someone comes to speak to me about her, I tell them to be quiet so they don’t open their mouth… she is the mother of my children, and I won’t allow anyone to tarnish her reputation."

Psychological and Physical Impact

Regarding the complaints that were filed, El-Sakka clarified: "The complaints concern a person whose level I won’t stoop to, and if I did, God would surely be more merciful on him than me, so I won’t engage."

He also confirmed that the crisis had a significant psychological and physical impact on him, saying: "The matter obviously affected me a lot in the beginning. I went 26 days without being able to eat or swallow, and I lost a lot of weight. Of course I was upset… how could I handle 120 million mouths to feed? And then what happened, happened, while I was outside Egypt and not present." He added: "Until this story happened, I had to learn everything related to social media."

Ahmed El-Sakka: Karim Abdel Aziz Did Not Intervene

Regarding rumors that actor Karim Abdel Aziz intervened to reconcile him with Maha El-Soghair, El-Sakka completely denied it, saying: "Karim Abdel Aziz did not intervene between me and Maha El-Soghair, nor did anyone else. The reports circulating are not true, and whoever published them knows what they are doing."

El-Sakka also spoke about his personal and professional relationship with director Mohamed Sami, saying: "Mohamed Sami is a great director and an amazing drama creator. We are always in contact, and now he is constantly developing himself, always ahead of everyone working with him by many steps."
