Angham: "I am part of you, and I am not wrong to show my weakness in front of my family… You have supported me with your love" Angham: "Praise be to God for His mercy and kindness, and praise be to God for your love that brought me back to life"

The Egyptian singer Angham chose this time to address her audience with her voice rather than written words, posting a moving recording on her Instagram account in which she shared details of her recent health struggle and her treatment journey in Germany.

Angham began her message with a voice filled with pain, saying she had thought long and hard before writing or speaking, but felt the need to speak directly to her audience, adding: “Your prayers were the medicine and the hand that lifted me after God and after the doctors, so thank you from the heart to everyone who stood by me.”

She explained that what frightened her most during the ordeal was the thought of leaving her children, as all she wished for was to return to them and rejoice with them again.

Angham admitted that this crisis made her confront her weakness for the first time, but she felt no shame expressing it to her audience, whom she described as her true family: “I am part of you, and I am not wrong to show my weakness in front of my family… You were patient with me and supported me with your love and prayers.”

Gratitude to the medical team

In her message, Angham expressed deep thanks to the medical team overseeing her treatment, especially the Palestinian professor Ayman Agha, who performed the delicate surgery, and Dr. Mahmoud Majida, who followed her case from start to finish.

She emphasized that everyone who helped her, even with a kind word or gentle touch, played a significant role in her recovery. She also thanked her family and friends, including her children Omar and Abdulrahman, her mother, and her siblings Randa, Yumna, and Adel, as well as all those who prayed for her from the heart.

She concluded by highlighting that God’s grace and the kindness of those around her were her true support: “Thanks to God for His mercy and kindness, and thanks for your love that brought me back to life. I can’t wait to see you soon on stage so we can sing and celebrate together.”

This appearance follows Angham’s delicate surgery in Germany, which included the removal of part of her pancreas due to health issues requiring urgent medical intervention.

The singer is currently undergoing a gradual recovery program, including careful medical follow-up, focusing on restoring her physical and mental health before resuming her regular artistic activities.
