Hossam Habib clarifies his position regarding Sherine
In a live broadcast on Instagram, singer Hossam Habib denied claims of officially reuniting with Sherine Abdel-Wahab, noting that his role currently is limited to providing moral support during her health struggle. He said: “I’m not living with her as people are saying. I am supporting her until she can stand on her own again, especially since she’s exhausted and scared after the disappointments she faced in recent months.”
Denial of Sherine’s daughters abandoning her
Habib also dismissed rumors that Sherine’s daughters, Hana and Mariam, had abandoned her to move in with their father, Mohamed Mostafa, confirming that the girls are staying with their mother and providing her full support during this challenging time.
Response to rumors about arrest and financial exploitation
Hossam Habib denied recent reports claiming he had been arrested, describing them as “false” and part of a “targeted campaign against me.” He also clarified that he does not require any financial support from Sherine, stating that he has always been independent since the beginning of his career: “I have never taken a penny from my family or from Sherine. Even if I don’t work, I don’t need Sherine or anyone else, and God keeps me self-sufficient.”
