The Egyptian media personality Mahmoud Saad revealed details of singer Angham’s medical treatment journey in Munich, Germany, where she underwent delicate pancreatic surgery following a sudden health setback.

During a live broadcast on his Facebook account, Saad explained that the surgery experienced some expected complications typical of such complex procedures, but the medical team managed them with high efficiency. He added that Angham quickly moved past the intensive care stage and began eating normally, showing clear improvement in her health while awaiting discharge clearance from the hospital.

Saad also noted that Angham is in a good psychological state thanks to the overwhelming support from her fans and confirmed that she will share the details of her experience herself upon returning to Egypt. He emphasized that the information he shares comes directly from Angham or her manager, stressing that he does not rely on any personal assumptions.

Medical Treatment Journey Angham began her treatment with an exploratory procedure, during which a tube was inserted through her mouth to remove part of a cyst on her pancreas. After careful monitoring for two days, the medical team noticed the cyst had enlarged, necessitating a second surgery to remove it along with a portion of the pancreas. The operation lasted three and a half hours and was performed laparoscopically through three surgical openings.

Reason for Choosing Germany for Treatment Saad explained that he advised Angham to look for the best pancreatic treatment centers, which led her to choose Germany. He clarified that this decision does not diminish the competence of Egyptian doctors, but noted that Egypt lacks specialized teams that perform this type of surgery on a daily basis. He added, “Egyptian medicine is excellent within the available resources.”

Reassuring Results and Rumor Clarifications Saad had previously reassured the public that Angham’s latest test results were reassuring and close to normal levels. He also denied circulating reports about a pancreatic abscess or medical error, confirming that Angham underwent only two procedures, not three as rumored.
