Gal Gadot met with the families of hostages as part of her message calling for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip Since October 7, Gadot has been leading a campaign titled "Free the Hostages"

Israeli actress Gal Gadot engaged with the widespread public demonstrations that took place in Tel Aviv on Sunday evening, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt the war on Gaza and release the hostages.

The massive protests were attended by hundreds of thousands, including former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, university presidents, and opposition leaders. Protesters blocked several main roads and Highway 1 at the entrance to Jerusalem, while dozens gathered in front of the homes of several ministers.

In this context, the Wonder Woman star met with several relatives of the hostages, sending a clear message in support of ending the war in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Gadot—who served in the Israeli army as a sergeant between 2005 and 2007—has led a campaign called “Free the Hostages” on X, sharing images of the captives in Gaza alongside their families.

Gal Gadot Weakens “Snow White”

Gadot also appeared in the film “Snow White”, portraying the “evil witch,” which sparked significant controversy. Her political stance negatively affected the film, leading to widespread boycotts and a decline in audience interest. This severely impacted the movie’s artistic and financial performance, placing its creators in a regrettable situation. Gadot’s presence and the film’s reduced appeal lessened public attention, while protests demanding its ban intensified, turning box office numbers into “fodder” for global media coverage.

Promoter of Tel Aviv’s Aggressive Policy

Gadot organized a private screening in Los Angeles lasting approximately 47 minutes, featuring footage from the October 7 clashes to promote the “Israeli narrative.” Around 120 prominent Hollywood figures attended, including actors, producers, and executives.

In an interview with an Israeli channel, Gadot stated that she believes pressure on Hollywood celebrities to express anti-Tel Aviv opinions contributed to the film’s disappointing performance. She emphasized that the criticism did not stop her from continuing to highlight the hostages’ issue, despite the impact on her career, according to The Jerusalem Post.
