The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Family Protection Department received a complaint from a man and his sister alleging abuse by their father and siblings. The case was investigated, the two individuals were examined by a forensic doctor, and all involved parties were apprehended and referred to the judiciary.
Psychological and Physical Abuse
The spokesperson noted that the video shared by the complainant, showing him tied with ropes and subjected to psychological and physical abuse, dates back several months. The video was secured and included in the case file before being sent to the judicial authorities.
The Family Protection Department also opened a social study to monitor the complainants' social situation and provide the necessary support and services to ensure their psychological and physical safety.
The directorate affirmed that it continues to monitor similar cases and take necessary measures to protect children and uphold their rights within the legal framework.
