Ashraf Zaki Imposes Silence on the “Badriya Talba Crisis”

The Chairman of the Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate, Ashraf Zaki, has issued a directive prohibiting all syndicate members from making any statements or comments—whether positive or negative—regarding the ongoing situation involving actress Badriya Talba, until the investigation is fully completed.
In a statement from the syndicate’s media office, Zaki emphasized that refraining from discussing Badriya Talba’s case is a professional obligation, essential to maintaining proper procedural conduct and upholding the professional code of ethics, whether through traditional media or social media platforms.
Badriya Talba Referred for Investigation The Actors’ Syndicate had earlier decided to refer Badriya Talba for investigation following a board meeting, citing what was considered a serious violation on her part. The results of the investigation are expected to be announced in the coming days.
The decision followed the circulation of a video in which Talba responded to recent rumors on social media.
Badriya Talba Responds to Allegations In the video, Badriya Talba firmly denied the accusations against her, which included claims of involvement in human organ trafficking and her husband’s death, describing them as part of an organized campaign to tarnish her reputation.
She added that “targeted committees” have been working against her to spread falsehoods and create discord, and confirmed that she has already taken legal action against the person who propagated the rumor.
