Badriya Talba Referred for Immediate Investigation Over Inappropriate Language Towards Followers Badriya Talba: "The Circulated Videos Are Edited"

The Board of the Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate, chaired by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, unanimously decided to refer actress Badriya Talba to an immediate investigation following her recent videos, in which she responded to some followers with words and hints deemed by the syndicate inappropriate for an Egyptian actress toward her audience.

The board referred Badriya to the investigation while emphasizing that all legal measures would be taken against any artist who violates the syndicate’s code of ethical conduct.

Badriya Talba Responds to the Syndicate’s Decision In response, Badriya Talba issued a statement expressing deep regret for her recent actions, affirming her full respect for the syndicate and her confidence in the fairness of the forthcoming investigation.

She said, "I am at the service of my syndicate because I indeed erred when I got carried away by a small group that does not represent the Egyptian people, giving them a chance to exploit my videos and use them against me." She added that she tried to offer a sincere apology to her audience, whom she respects and values, but made another mistake when the apology came across as tense due to what she described as "continuous provocation from some people," noting, "I should have been calmer, and surely those who love me will understand."

“Edited Videos” Badriya emphasized that her audience is the real reason for her success and that no offense can be directed at them. She also pointed out that the circulating videos were edited and that full versions are available on her official page.

She concluded by affirming her welcome of the investigation within the syndicate, considering it an opportunity to prove the truth of what happened, away from tension or attempts at provocation.
