The health condition of the Egyptian artist Angham has shown new developments over the past few hours. According to a media source quoting a close insider, the medical team treating her at a private hospital in Munich, Germany, noticed a slight decline in her immune system activity, which forced them to take urgent medical measures to improve her condition.

The source added that the hours following the delicate surgery Angham underwent to remove part of her pancreas were extremely difficult. She was taken out of the operating room and spent several hours in intensive care. Afterwards, she was transferred to an isolation room in the hospital for several hours due to weakened immune function, which is normal after precise surgeries involving the pancreas or liver.

“Precautionary Measure”

The source explained that the decision to move Angham to the isolation room was a precautionary medical step to protect her from viruses her immune system might not be able to fight during this period.

He noted that the medical team placed her on an intensive treatment protocol to boost her immune system efficiency, adding that she will return to Cairo once her condition fully stabilizes and as soon as doctors allow her to leave the hospital and return to her residence in Germany before finally heading back to her home country.

Surgical Intervention

Two weeks ago, Angham underwent an endoscopic surgery to remove a cyst from her pancreas. Afterward, she underwent several precise medical tests that revealed the necessity of another surgical intervention to remove the remaining cyst and part of the pancreas, which took place in the past few days.

Mahmoud Saad: “Continuous Improvement”

On his part, media personality Mahmoud Saad revealed that her condition is stable and continuously improving following the surgery in Germany. Commenting on a photo of Angham posted on his Instagram account, he said: “I just checked on Angham minutes ago, and thankfully she is fine and improving every day more than the day before, but the operation was major and the journey is not simple; it will take time.”

He added, “But thank God, there is improvement and she is dealing with life better every day, and God willing, she will leave the hospital within days and reassure you herself.”

Angham’s Brother: “Don’t Believe the Press”

In a related context, Angham’s brother, Khaled Suleiman, denied the circulating news about the deterioration of his sister’s health, her being held in an isolation room, and the ban on visitors due to her weak immune system, affirming that these reports are completely false.

Expressing the family’s frustration over the rumors, he wrote on his official Facebook account: “Don’t believe the press. Angham is fine, recovering, and will return to us safe and sound soon, God willing. All the published news is lies and misinformation, and I say this with full responsibility.”

Angham’s health condition has attracted wide attention from her fans, especially after her recent surgery following the discovery of a large cyst on her pancreas.

It is worth mentioning that Angham performed at the opening ceremony of the New Alamein Festival on July 18, where she presented a distinguished selection of her old and new songs, amid great interaction from her audience and fans.
