Mahmoud Saad: "The doctors decided to remove the entire cyst along with a small part of the pancreas" Mahmoud Saad calls on Angham’s fans to pray for her speedy recovery

Egyptian broadcaster Mahmoud Saad reveals updates on singer Angham’s health, who was recently transferred to a hospital in Germany to receive treatment following a sudden health setback.

Mahmoud Saad explained via his Instagram account that doctors decided to perform surgery to remove a cyst from her pancreas. Initially, part of the cyst was removed, but it was later deemed necessary to remove the entire cyst along with a small portion of the pancreas. The operation is scheduled for the following morning, and he urged her fans to pray for her recovery.

Gradual Improvement and Ongoing Monitoring

Earlier, Saad had shared in a video on Facebook that he has been in constant contact with Angham’s son, Omar, to follow up on her condition. He confirmed that she is experiencing severe pain but is not in critical condition, emphasizing that her case is under close medical supervision until the end of the week.

A Delicate Operation

He later added that Angham underwent a delicate procedure using an endoscope to remove a benign cyst, stressing that tests confirmed it was not cancerous, contrary to circulating rumors. He also noted that her health is improving—she has started to move around her room and eat, although she still experiences some post-surgical pain.

Support and Official Denial of Rumors

Meanwhile, artist Carole Samaha expressed heartfelt support for Angham in a message on platform X, writing: "Angham, the great artist and dear friend, I know how strong you are. I wish you a swift recovery and an even stronger comeback. Sending you lots of love."

In response to the widespread rumors, Angham’s media office issued an official statement denying claims that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. The statement affirmed that such reports were baseless and that her medical trip to Germany was a scheduled checkup related to her pancreas and not due to any critical or emergency condition.
