Minister Lina Annab expressed her appreciation for Roya TV’s efforts and follow-up in covering the traveling exhibition “Jordan: Dawn of Christianity” in the city of Assisi, Italy, last Friday, through the program “Helwa Ya Dunia.”

Minister Annab, who was a guest on the program aired every Friday morning on Roya TV, praised the outstanding coverage through her official Facebook account, commending the professional and meticulous work presented by colleagues Fouad Al-Karsha and Mais Al-Noubani in highlighting and discussing the exhibition in a remarkable way.

According to Minister Lina Annab’s post: “The coverage by Roya TV of the traveling exhibition ‘Jordan: Dawn of Christianity’ in Assisi, Italy, highlighted the rich cultural and spiritual momentum accompanying this exceptional event, which continues until August 3rd. The exhibition has attracted thousands of visitors from around the world. Starting from the Vatican this year, the Jubilee year, the exhibition continues its spiritual and cultural journey, emphasizing Jordan as the cradle of Christianity and a global religious destination. By showcasing Christian pilgrimage sites recognized by the Vatican such as Al-Maghtas (Bethany Beyond Jordan), Mount Nebo, and Mukawir, alongside other historically and spiritually significant Christian sites, the exhibition reaffirms Jordan’s status as an integral part of the Holy Land. These traveling exhibitions provide an emotional experience that connects visitors with the place before they visit it, supporting sustainable religious tourism, which is a key pillar in attracting Christian visitors and pilgrims to Jordan to closely learn about the origins of Christianity, which began after the baptism of Jesus Christ by Saint John the Baptist on the eastern banks of the Jordan River. Moreover, these exhibitions contribute to promoting Jordan’s image as a land of dialogue, peace, coexistence, openness, and as a cradle of Islamic and Christian civilizations. The exhibition will conclude in Assisi and then move to Athens, where it will be displayed alongside the 16th International Conference on the History and Archaeology of Jordan, scheduled from September 22 to 26, 2025.”

Roya TV at the Heart of Events Through its various programs, Roya TV covers numerous events and festivals that reflect the cultural and civilizational diversity of Jordan and the region, extending to some European countries, thereby enhancing Jordan’s tourism presence on the global map and highlighting its rich historical, religious, and cultural heritage.
