In one of the most remarkable nights of the 39th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, Egyptian artist Mohamed Hamaki performed a special concert on the historic Southern Theater stage on Friday evening, reconnecting with his Jordanian audience after more than 10 years of absence.

The audience warmly welcomed the artist with enthusiastic cheers that filled the amphitheater. Upon stepping onto the stage, Hamaki expressed his happiness to be back, saying, "I missed you all... it’s been a very long time since we last met on the Jerash stage." He added with excitement, "I’m very happy that we will have an amazing evening and celebrate with all our hearts."

A Night of Harmony

The concert witnessed remarkable interaction from the crowd, who sang along and chanted his name, creating an atmosphere of harmony that lasted throughout the performance. Hamaki blended his latest hits with beloved classics, delighting his fans.

During the concert, Hamaki performed a selection of his new and classic songs, including: "Baqit Ma‘ah," "Layla," "Ma Balash," "Adrenaline," "Zayha Menny," "La Malama," "Men Albi Baghanni," and "Zayha Meen."

This memorable appearance at Jerash follows his recent participation in the "Mawazine" International Festival in Morocco, where his concert at the Nahda stage in Rabat was a great success, reflecting the artist’s renewed artistic activity during a busy summer season.

It is worth noting that Hamaki had suffered a health setback last March, undergoing a minor surgical procedure. He quickly returned to his audience and resumed performing with a strong and noticeable presence.
