Revealing the cause of wrestler Hulk Hogan's death

The American site People revealed the cause of death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, at the age of 71 on Thursday, July 24. He died from an acute heart attack (myocardial infarction).
According to medical records obtained by the magazine, Hogan suffered from atrial fibrillation, a heart rhythm disorder, in addition to a previously undisclosed medical history of leukemia, reflecting a long health battle kept away from the media.
On the morning of his death, the emergency center in Clearwater Beach, Florida, received a call at 9:51 AM reporting that Hogan had suffered a cardiac arrest at his home. Paramedics attempted to revive him for half an hour before transferring him to a hospital where he was officially pronounced dead.
WWE mourns its icon… Stars bid farewell
WWE issued an official statement confirming the death, saying: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, one of the most prominent faces in pop culture and wrestling, who helped turn WWE into a global phenomenon in the 1980s."
Wrestling stars expressed their shock, including John Cena and Ric Flair, who wrote on X: "I am deeply shocked… I lost a close friend."
Shocked friends… No signs of imminent decline
His former manager and close friend Jimmy Hart expressed his sorrow: "I spoke to him the night before, and everything seemed fine… then suddenly everything happened." Eric Bischoff, another close friend, said he visited Hogan recently and noticed clear signs of fatigue but added that Hogan remained true to himself.
Previous rumors… Official denial
In June, reports circulated about a serious decline in Hogan’s health, but his representatives denied those claims at the time, assuring that "there is no need for concern."
A legacy never forgotten
Hulk Hogan is considered one of the legends of professional wrestling and was a central figure in WWE’s golden era in the 1980s and 1990s. He leaves behind his current wife Sky Daily, his former wives Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel, as well as his son Nick and daughter Brooke Hogan.
