In her first steps after being released from prison, Kuwaiti media personality Fajer Al-Saeed paid a visit to singer Abdullah Al-Ruwaished at his home in the Jabriya area to check on his health, following a long treatment journey.

Al-Saeed shared a series of photos from the visit on her Instagram account, showing her alongside Al-Ruwaished, who appeared to be in good health—reassuring his fans that he is gradually regaining his strength and vitality.

A friendly, private gathering away from the spotlight According to fellow media figure Mai Al-Aidan, the meeting lasted for several hours and was limited to family members and close friends. She noted that this visit was part of Al-Saeed’s effort to return to normal life and distance herself from politics, after years of stirring controversy with her outspoken political views.

It’s worth noting that the Kuwaiti Court of Appeals had recently overturned a prior ruling by the Criminal Court sentencing Fajer Al-Saeed to three years in prison with hard labor in a state security case. The court instead decided to suspend the sentence in exchange for a bail of 1,000 Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $3,200).

Al-Saeed had faced several charges, including spreading false news, misusing social media, promoting normalization with Israel, and harming national interests.
