In new developments related to the case of social media activist and influencer Ayman Abli, the Public Prosecutor of Amman on Thursday ordered Abli's detention following his prosecution by the Cybercrime Unit, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

According to the source, the prosecutor charged Abli with “publishing content that could undermine social peace,” and decided to detain him for one week pending investigation. The case file has been referred to the Amman Magistrate’s Court to proceed with legal procedures.

Ayman Abli’s name topped search engines and trended online in recent hours, amid growing questions surrounding the developments in his case.

Abli is considered one of the most prominent social media influencers in Jordan. Over the past years, he has gained attention for his candid and heartfelt content, often addressing humanitarian and social issues.
