Emirati singer Ahlam delivered a remarkable concert as part of the 39th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, held on Friday evening at the Southern Theater, amid a large, enthusiastic audience and a warm reception.

Ahlam took to the stage to meet her Jordanian fans for the fourth time as part of the festival, and was greeted with a storm of applause and cheers. In her opening remarks, she expressed her heartfelt joy, saying: "Good evening, Jordan — my beloved Jordan, the land of history, art, and civilization, the land of the past and the present... On the stage of this great venue, the Jerash Theater, in this season that I wait for every year — I wait for your presence, your love, your warm welcome. This is my fourth time with you here, and I welcome all the people of Jerash."

She also extended greetings from the UAE to Jordan, adding: "I came to you from the heart, from the home of Zayed, from the home of my leader His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the home of our beloved King Abdullah. From us, you have all our love, appreciation, and respect."

A Long-Awaited Return After Seven Years

The concert featured an exquisite musical performance, with Ahlam presenting a selection of her most beloved songs, including “Wahashtouni” from her new 2025 album "The Last Embrace", as well as “Mada Baad?” and “Akthar Min Awwal Ahebak”. She also performed a number of her earlier hits, with the audience passionately singing along.

This year’s performance marked Ahlam’s long-awaited return to the Jerash Festival after a seven-year absence, as her last participation was in the 2018 edition. Her first appearance on the Southern Theater stage dates back to 1996, cementing her status as one of the most emotionally connected Arab stars to this iconic cultural event.
