Artist Amira Farag has officially confirmed her separation from actor Ahmed Fahmy, noting that their current relationship is based on mutual respect and appreciation, without revealing further details.

Amira explained in press statements that their acquaintance began at the Cairo Opera House, where she sang in the children’s choir while Ahmed played in the orchestra. The couple shared memories of their first meeting during rehearsals for an October concert, when Ahmed started expressing his admiration for her.

The news shocked their fans, who expressed surprise and raised questions about the real reasons behind the separation, especially given the photos and memories showing their happy moments together over the past period, sparking confusion and speculation among their followers on social media platforms.

Stepping away from singing Amira also revealed that she stopped singing after marriage due to personal and family reasons, particularly after her mother passed away while she was pregnant with their son Omar, which led her to focus on raising him. However, she later returned to singing and media work once she found free time.

On his part, Ahmed Fahmy denied rumors linking Amira’s hiatus from the arts to any restriction imposed by him, affirming that her main focus was caring for their son. He considered feelings of jealousy between spouses natural but stated that he never obstructed her career.
