The 39th edition of the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts opened with a grand celebration led by acclaimed Jordanian artist Omar Al-Abdallat, who lit up the North Theatre with a powerful performance that set the tone for the festival’s return in 2025.

Known as the "Voice of Jordan," Al-Abdallat delivered a spectacular setlist featuring patriotic and traditional songs that stirred the crowd. His performance of beloved hits like “Hashemi Hashemi” and “Our Army” resonated deeply with attendees, who sang along and waved Jordanian flags in a show of unity and national spirit.

The event was marked by flawless production, vibrant lighting, and a highly engaged audience, reinforcing Jerash Festival’s standing as one of the region’s premier cultural gatherings.

This year’s edition is expected to feature more than 230 cultural, musical, and theatrical events over 10 days, bringing together renowned Arab artists, local talents, and diverse audiences in celebration of art, heritage, and creativity.
