In recent hours, a wave of bizarre rumors surfaced about Zainab Fayyad, daughter of Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe, claiming she had attempted to end her life. The rumors prompted her to break her silence and respond through Instagram Stories.
In a tone many considered “provocative”—though she delivered it with calm sarcasm—Zeinab expressed her outrage over the rumor and her frustration at being dragged into baseless news stories, all just to chase some “trending” spotlight.
She posted a photo of herself along with a biting caption: “My presence and absence cause them a crisis… stray dog pages,” adding a trash bin emoji to emphasize that she doesn’t pay any attention to such talk.
Not stopping at the post, Zainab also shared several short videos in which she appeared full of life, strongly denying the rumors and affirming that she is in perfect health. Jokingly, she said: “Just imagine—the rumor spread while I was literally at the coast, getting pampered at the salon!” She added: “I’m too busy for this. What’s being said is beneath me. I don’t respond to petty rumors. The important thing is, I’m doing great and feeling fabulous.”
Her response received widespread support from followers who sent messages of encouragement and well-wishes, while expressing anger at the offensive nature of such rumors—aimed at damaging public figures just to generate views and engagement.
