Omar Al-Abdallat Completes Preparations for His Appearance at Jerash Festival Omar Al-Abdallat: "My sixteenth participation in the Jerash Festival is a great honor."

The “Voice of Jordan,” singer Omar Al-Abdallat, is set to inaugurate the 2025 edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in Jordan on Wednesday. He has completed preparations for his performance at the festival’s opening ceremony in its 39th edition, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, and under the theme: “Here is Jordan… and its glory continues.”

This year’s opening concert is expected to be a highlight of the festival, with much anticipation surrounding Al-Abdallat’s appearance. Fans eagerly await a special evening with their beloved artist, who will present a selection of his most popular songs — especially with the large public turnout expected.

A Special Appearance by the “Voice of Jordan”

In press statements, Al-Abdallat said he had finalized preparations for his performance, noting that he will present a selection of his most iconic works.

He added: “This marks my 16th participation in the Jerash Festival, and it’s a great honor. Being chosen for the opening ceremony is a big responsibility, and I’m committed to rising to the occasion at this major cultural and artistic event that reflects Jordan’s image to the world. I promise the audience a concert worthy of their taste and loyalty.”

37 Countries Light Up the Festival

Al-Abdallat also welcomed the Arab singers participating in this year’s concerts, saying: “I warmly welcome all the Arab stars performing in Jerash this year—they are among their own people.”

The 39th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will launch next Wednesday evening, July 23, and will run until August 2. The festival will feature a diverse program of artistic, cultural, and folkloric events, with participation from 37 countries from around the world.
