Egyptian actress Shaimaa Seif reassured her fans after being involved in a traffic collision while driving on Dahshour Road in the city of 6th of October, confirming in her first statement that she was unharmed.

Shaimaa posted a message via the "Stories" feature on her official Instagram account, saying: "Thank you so much for checking on me. I’m totally fine, thank God—it could’ve been worse, but everything turned out okay."

Despite the incident, the actress was quick to comfort her followers, reflecting her awareness of the importance of staying connected with her audience and avoiding unnecessary panic or rumors. According to the Giza Security Directorate, the accident occurred due to a collision between Shaimaa’s car and another vehicle owned by a civilian. The incident resulted in material damage only, with no injuries reported.

Security forces immediately arrived at the scene, followed proper procedures, and filed an official report. The Public Prosecution was notified to begin investigating the circumstances of the crash.
