The incident occurred when the ceiling of a banquet hall collapsed at a hotel in Cairo, injuring the actress. In the photo, Razan is seen lying on a hospital bed, her head wrapped in a medical bandage, reflecting the severity of her injury and the surgical procedure she underwent.

El Shayeb accompanied the image with an emotional message: “Wishing you a speedy recovery. May you come back stronger than ever to your fans.” The post sparked a wave of reactions from followers expressing their concern and heartfelt wishes for her quick recovery.

Breaking her silence, Razan shared her first official statement following the accident through her Instagram account. She wrote: "I extend my deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone who reached out, asked about me, and expressed love and concern after the accident. Your support and kind words have deeply touched me, and I promise to return soon in full health and strength. Thank you for your loyalty and sincere emotions."

She continued: "I want to reassure everyone about my health. I’m also grateful to the medical team for the exceptional care I received. It wasn’t an easy experience at all, but I hold on to hope, willpower, and the love surrounding me, which gives me strength."
