Postponement of Ruby’s concert at the North Coast

The organizers of the concert featuring singer Ruby and rising rap star Lege-Cy announced the postponement of the event originally scheduled for Friday evening, July 18, to Friday, July 25 instead.
In an official statement, the organizers explained that the delay was due to incomplete technical preparations for the stage and lighting, caused by a delay in obtaining the final permits related to the concert. This was attributed to a recent fire that broke out on one of the North Coast beaches, which affected the pace of logistical preparations.
The statement emphasized that the company’s top priority is “making the audience happy and providing a safe and complete experience,” expressing their eagerness to meet attendees at the new date.
Lege-Cy Prepares for a Major Concert
Despite the postponement, Lege-Cy is preparing to perform at a major music night as part of the New Alamein Festival, alongside rap star Marwan Pablo, on August 15, during the sixth week of the summer festival.
George Wassouf’s Concert Also Postponed
This postponement follows a recent announcement about the delay of Lebanese singer George Wassouf’s concert, initially set for July 17 as part of the 2025 Summer Season. The new date is July 31.
The organizers attributed the decision to prioritizing the safety of the audience and staff, affirming their commitment to providing the best possible experience.
“Abu Wadie” (George Wassouf) expressed his excitement to meet his Egyptian fans in a post on his official Facebook page, saying: “My dear ones in Egypt, see you on July 17 at the North Coast.” The post received wide interaction among his fans in Egypt and the Arab world.
