Following the remarkable success of the song “El Zou’ El ‘Aaly” (High Class Taste), which brought him together with the legendary artist Mohamed Mounir, and the trending status of his new album Leina Ma’ad, Egyptian star Tamer Hosny shared a heartfelt message with his fans, revealing his emotions and the behind-the-scenes journey leading up to the album’s release.

In a post on his “X” (formerly Twitter) account, Tamer Hosny wrote: “I’ll take this beautiful opportunity—our song El Zou’ El ‘Aaly with my beloved King Mohamed Mounir is trending #1 overall and also topping the music charts. It's only day one, and already the 13 tracks from Leina Ma’ad are trending.”

Behind the Effort and Exhaustion… and Reading Every Comment

Nicknamed the “Star of the Generation,” Tamer opened up about the intense effort he put into creating the album. He emphasized that he followed his fans’ comments very closely—both positive and negative—as they pushed him to improve. He even admitted that the exhaustion at times led him to be hospitalized, though he never publicly revealed it at the time.

He wrote: “I read all your negative comments before the positive ones so I could identify weaknesses and work on them. I honestly got really exhausted and had to be hospitalized mid-year—but I never liked talking about it.”

A Personal Challenge… and Endless Love

Tamer Hosny acknowledged that some of his previous albums may not have met fans' expectations, but he viewed that as motivation to do better. He said that the popular success of his album Eish Beshou’ak remained in his mind as a personal challenge he was determined to surpass.

He continued: “Since day one, I’ve been one of you. I know that some albums didn’t live up to your expectations, but others will remain milestones. I challenged myself to create something that surpasses Eish Beshou’ak.”

Two Years of Work in the Studio

The Egyptian artist noted that he spent two years in intensive work in the studio with sound engineers, producers, lyricists, and composers, all in an effort to present a musical experience that respects evolving public taste and keeps up with the times.

He expressed great joy at the reactions he received from fans and from the team that worked with him on the album. “Right now, I’m overjoyed—seeing them thank me in front of you all, and feeling the love from your hearts.”

A Heartfelt Message of Gratitude

Tamer concluded his message by thanking everyone who supported, advised, or even constructively criticized him. He reaffirmed his commitment to representing Egypt honorably to the world as an Arab and Egyptian artist.
