The life of "American Idol" star and her husband was tragically ended in a heartbreaking incident

In a tragic incident, Robin Kay, the award-winning music supervisor on "American Idol," and her husband Thomas DeLuca were found dead in their home in the Encino area of Los Angeles, in what has been described as a gruesome double homicide.
According to TMZ and law enforcement sources, Los Angeles police went to the home on Monday to conduct a welfare check after family members reported not hearing from the couple for four days.
According to the investigation, officers noticed blood at the front entrance, which led them to break a window to enter the house. Inside, they found the couple deceased, and it is believed that their deaths were caused by gunshot wounds.
“An Attempted Intrusion”
Police had previously received a report the Thursday before the incident, stating that an unidentified individual was attempting to break into the home and may have been armed.
Neighbors reported seeing someone jump over the fence, but the officers found no signs of forced entry at the time and left after searching the property. It remains unclear whether this earlier incident is connected to the couple’s deaths.
Robin Kay was a prominent name in the field of music supervision. She worked on “American Idol” for over 15 seasons and received multiple awards from the Guild of Music Supervisors. She also contributed to other popular programs, including “Lip Sync Battle.” The home she shared with her husband also had a musical legacy, as it was formerly owned by late rapper Juice WRLD.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crime, as the incident has sparked widespread shock in the entertainment industry and among the public.
