Amid the backlash, Lebanese actress Ward El Khal expressed her solidarity with Cyrine by posting on X (formerly Twitter): "I once said: Some people need plastic surgery for their morals, not their looks; a renovation of their conscience, not their bodies; refinement of their minds, not their outfits… They are soldiers of ugliness. Walk away and forget."

Cyrine responded with mutual support and a touch of bitterness: "Yes, Ward, sadly some people sell their conscience for a few meaningless interactions! They forget that life turns — and everyone reaps what they sow, sooner or later."

Despite the online bullying, Cyrine received an outpouring of support from fans and followers.
