Egyptian writer Akram Al-Saadani has addressed recent rumors about the illness of actor Adel Imam, specifically claims that he suffers from Alzheimer's disease, confirming that he remains in regular contact with "El Za’eem" (The Leader).

In media statements, Al-Saadani said, "I am currently sitting with Adel Imam, and we are discussing the history of art. As for those who say Adel Imam has Alzheimer's, I speak with him even when his brother or his brother-in-law calls me. I myself wish to record his memories with Abdel Rahman Al-Khamissi."

Previously, Al-Saadani shared details of his meeting with Adel Imam in a Facebook post, saying, "I spent hours that felt like a dream with the charming Al-Adoul and his younger brother, my lifelong friend Issam. We reminisced about our beloved Giza and its neighborhoods. We lived with its people the best years of our lives in Al-Omraneya, Al-Haram, Harat Samaka, Al-Bahr Al-Azam, Nawar Al-Saadani, Al-Adoul, Saeed, and Salah, and the legendary meetings with Al-Khamissi, Kamel Al-Shenawy, and Zakaria Al-Hajawi."

On another note, Adel Imam trended widely on social media after a photo of him with his family members at the wedding contract of his eldest grandson, Adel Imam Junior, son of director Rami Imam, was shared. Despite the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the photo, some sparked controversy by claiming the image was digitally altered using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
