Panic and Fear: Divine Intervention Prevents a Disaster in Amman

What could have been a devastating tragedy on Wednesday afternoon was narrowly avoided in the Al-Rashid suburb of Jordan’s capital, Amman, after a sudden fire broke out in a fifth-floor apartment of a residential building. The incident resulted in nine varying injuries, but thanks to divine intervention, no lives were lost and the flames were prevented from spreading to the rest of the building.
Swift Emergency Response Prevents Disaster
Firefighting and ambulance teams from the Central Amman Civil Defense Directorate responded swiftly and professionally, managing to contain the fire before it turned into a full-fledged humanitarian catastrophe — especially considering that the building was fully occupied and the fire could have easily spread to other floors.
Panic and Fear
Witnesses described scenes of panic and fear, as residents rushed to rescue their children and loved ones amid thick clouds of smoke. The wail of civil defense sirens and the calming words of firefighters eventually reassured the terrified residents.
Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, as questions linger regarding what sparked the sudden blaze.
