"You came back from the grave!"... Mirna Waleed expresses her frustration over death rumor

Egyptian actress Mirna Waleed expressed her deep frustration over the recent rumors surrounding her, the latest being a false report of her death. She confirmed that such recurring fabrications have had a significant psychological impact on her.
In a press statement during her attendance at a recent artistic event, Mirna recounted one of the strangest experiences she has faced, saying: "I used to cry and fall into depression every time a rumor came out about me. The last time, someone actually told me, 'You rose from the grave! We read today that you died!'"
She added that she couldn’t understand why she was being targeted in this way, angrily asking: "What have I done to bother anyone? I live quietly and mind my own business. Why do people invent rumors that hurt others for no reason?"
Widespread Concern and Outrage
The rumor sparked a wave of concern and anger among Mirna’s fans, who expressed their deep distress upon hearing the false news—especially since it wasn’t the first time such a rumor had circulated. Many called for an end to these harmful fabrications that cause emotional harm to both artists and their families.
On a different note, Mirna revealed the reason for her withdrawal from the stage play "Fares Yakshif Al-Mastour" by renowned actor Mohamed Sobhi. She explained that she has been suffering from chronic pain in her leg, stating: "Since the play 'Qamar Al-Ghajar,' I’ve been experiencing pain in my leg due to long sitting hours. The doctor recommended surgery, so I informed Mr. Mohamed Sobhi, and he agreed to find a replacement. I will continue performing until the end of the year, then I’ll undergo the operation."
