Latest Updates on Abdullah Al-Ruwaished’s Health Condition After His Return from Germany

Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Al-Ruwaished has returned to his home country after a nearly two-month medical trip to Germany, which began in April. During his stay, he underwent an intensive physical therapy program aimed at improving his health condition.
Artist Ahmed Al-Ruwaished, Abdullah’s nephew, told a Kuwaiti newspaper that his uncle’s condition has significantly improved following the treatment. However, he still needs more time to fully recover. He added that the medical team overseeing the case has set a treatment plan tailored to his needs, expressing optimism about a gradual improvement in the coming period.
Abdullah Al-Ruwaished Suffers a StrokeAbdullah Al-Ruwaished had suffered a stroke in February 2024 and was transferred to Germany for treatment. He remained there for around seven months before returning to Kuwait in October 2024. In April 2025, he traveled back to Germany to continue his treatment and undergo follow-up medical tests.
His last public appearance was in February 2025 during a tribute concert held in his honor under the title "A Night of Art and History." The event featured a distinguished lineup of Arab music stars, including Angham, Aseel Abu Bakr, Miami Band, Khaled Al-Mulla, Ali Bin Mohammed, composer Khaled Al-Sheikh, Fahad Al-Kubaisi, Musaed Al-Balushi, Badr Nouri, and Nabil Shuail. They performed a selection of their best songs, creating a memorable musical evening that was met with enthusiastic audience response.
