Egyptian visual artist Ahmed Sheha, father of actress Hala Sheha, denied the rumors circulating on social media about his daughter reuniting with her Canadian ex-husband, the father of her children, after she recently wore the hijab again and deleted many of her uncovered photos.

In a press statement, Sheha said: “My daughter has not returned to her husband, and I don’t know why she’s constantly the subject of rumors on social media. I just hope people verify information before spreading it.”

Hala Sheha Sparks Controversy

Hala Sheha stirred controversy recently after announcing her return to Canada, where her children and their father live. The move sparked speculation about a possible reconciliation with her ex-husband, especially amid her noticeable transformation—putting the hijab back on, removing her old photos, and sharing her spiritual journey and daily reflections with the hijab and Quran on social media platforms.

It’s worth noting that Hala Sheha’s most recent drama role was in the 2024 Ramadan series “Embratoriyat Meem” (Empire of Meem), where she starred alongside Khaled El Nabawy. The series was written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel Malik, directed by Mohamed Salama, and featured a cast including Nour El Nabawy, Nashwa Mostafa, Mahmoud Hafez, Laila Eloui El Arab, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Eman El Sayed, Mayan El Sayed, Hagar Siraj, Nourhan Mansour, Mona Ahmed Zahir, and others.
