Due to their delayed return… Iraqi Artists’ Syndicate President checks on Elham Shahin and Hala Sarhan

The President of the Iraqi Artists' Syndicate, Jabbar Joudi, checked on Egyptian actress Ilham Shaheen and media personality Hala Sarhan after their return to Cairo was delayed due to the closure of Iraqi airspace.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Cinema Syndicate President and director Masaad Fouda, Actors’ Syndicate President Ashraf Zaki, and the Head of the Federation of Artistic Syndicates Omar Abdel Aziz expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for Joudi’s swift initiative and keen care for the Egyptian artists under these circumstances.
In a joint statement, the three syndicate heads emphasized their commitment to staying in contact with Shaheen and Sarhan, ensuring their well-being, and providing all necessary support to guarantee their safe return to Egypt. They also confirmed their ongoing follow-up on the latest developments.
Ilham Shaheen recently participated in the International Women Media Festival in Baghdad, which addressed the challenges faced by female journalists in conflict and war zones. She attended a special panel highlighting the sacrifices of martyr journalists, including Iraqi journalist Atwar Bahjat and Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
