Nassif Zeytoun: A Star Shines at the Opening of Jerash Festival 2025

The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts announced the key highlights of its 39th edition, set to kick off on July 23rd and run for ten days in the ancient city of Jerash, with parallel events taking place in the capital, Amman.
Syrian artist Nassif Zeytoun will open the concerts at the Southern Theatre on the evening of Thursday, July 24th, marking his first appearance at the festival. Expressing his excitement, he stated: "A dream come true... it's a great honor to be the opening star for the Jerash Festival 2025 concerts, and I hope to live up to the trust and responsibility." The Southern Theatre is one of the festival's most prominent venues, accommodating around five thousand spectators, and has hosted leading Arab music stars since the festival's inception in 1981.
Distinguished Stars at Jerash FestivalFestival director Ayman Samawi announced the participation of several renowned Arab singers this year, including Mayada El Hennawy, Assala Nasri, Ahlam, and Nour Mehanna, with the remaining participating artists to be revealed later.
In addition to the musical performances, the upcoming new edition of the Jerash Festival will present a rich cultural and folklore program catering to diverse tastes. This includes poetry evenings, intellectual seminars, and artistic performances from various cultures, all held across seven stages in Jerash and Amman. Furthermore, there will be a dedicated embassy pavilion showcasing artifacts and heritage items that highlight the identity of the participating countries.
