Bassma Boussel Sparks Concern Over Her Son Adam’s Health

Moroccan artist Basma Bousil has once again stirred concern among fans over the health of her son, Adam—the child of Egyptian star Tamer Hosny—despite recent reports indicating his condition had improved.
Adam is still receiving intensive medical care at a hospital after undergoing a delicate surgery that required his admission to the intensive care unit, where he spent several days under close medical supervision.
Through her Instagram Stories, Basma Bousil shared a heartfelt prayer for her son's recovery, writing:"O Allah, I ask You by every name of Yours to heal my son Adam with a healing that leaves no illness behind. Grant him full health and complete recovery."
Earlier, Basma had revealed Adam’s health scare by posting a photo of him lying on a hospital bed, captioned with concern: "Please pray for my child."
The post triggered widespread emotional support from both the public and fellow artists, as Basma and Tamer Hosny received an outpouring of prayers and messages wishing their son a swift and full recovery.
“Restart” Film
In a separate development, Tamer Hosny’s latest film, Restart, which premiered on the first day of Eid al-Adha (Friday), earned EGP 6,505,577 that day alone, bringing its total revenue over nine days to EGP 24,880,015.
The film follows the story of Mohamed, a humble mobile technician who dreams of marrying Afaf, a budding social media influencer. Faced with financial challenges, the couple teams up with their quirky families to chase online fame. With the help of a mysterious digital agent known as "The Joker," they achieve stardom—but the wave of wealth and attention tests the family’s core values and unity.
Restart stars Tamer Hosny alongside Hana El Zahed, Mohamed Tharwat, Bassem Samra, Essam El Sakka, Mimi Gamal, Ahmed Aziz, and Ahmed Ali. It also features special appearances from Elham Shahin, Mohamed Ragab, Shaimaa Seif, Rania Mansour, Tuwana El Gohary, and former Zamalek footballer Ahmed Hossam Mido. The film is written by Ayman Bahgat Amar and directed by Sara Wafik.
