Egyptian singer Hossam Habib apologized to his audience after a technical glitch affected the release of his new song “Sibtak,” preventing many listeners from accessing it upon its release on Tuesday evening.

Through Instagram Stories on his official account, Habib announced that he will go live on TikTok within hours to openly discuss the behind-the-scenes details of the song’s production.

“In a TikTok live within hours, we’ll talk together about the making of ‘Sibtak’—the behind-the-scenes, the challenges, and everything we faced,” he said in his message.

He added with an apology: “I sincerely apologize and want to reassure you about the technical error that occurred with the song. It will be resolved within hours. I’m waiting for your questions and feedback.”

“Sibtak” was written by Adham Moataz, composed by Tamer Ali, and arranged by Ahmed Wagih. It marks the first release from Habib’s upcoming summer 2025 album, which signals his long-anticipated return to the music scene after a period of absence.
