Egyptian director Amir Ramses mocks Hala Shiha’s changing decisions on retirement and comeback amid her announcement of a religious program on YouTube

Egyptian director Amir Ramses made fun of actress Hala Shiha’s frequent and changing decisions regarding her retirement and return to the artistic scene, following her announcement about launching a religious program on the popular video platform YouTube.

Ramses posted on his official Instagram account an expressive image showing surprise and bewilderment, commenting: "Hala Shiha retires again and presents a religious program… Hala returns to acting… Hala retires."

Recently, Hala Shiha revealed her plans to launch a new channel on YouTube, inviting her audience to follow her, without disclosing details or the content of the channel yet.

She posted a photo on her official Instagram account with the caption: "I will be very happy to have you with me on my YouTube channel… follow me… and if you don’t… I love you very much."

She also included the name of her channel in a comment on the post, but the channel remains empty of any content so far.

Latest Artistic Works of Hala Shiha

Hala Shiha’s latest work is the TV series "Empire of Mim" (Imbratoria Mim), which aired during the Ramadan drama season of 2024.

The series was written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel Malek and directed by Mohamed Salama. It starred Hala Shiha alongside Khaled El Nabawy and featured a talented cast including Nashwa Mostafa, Mahmoud Hafez, Mayan El Sayed, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Nour El Nabawy, Hagar El Serag, Laila Ezz El Arab, and others.

The storyline revolves around Mokhtar Abu Al-Majd, a man torn between his love for a woman and his responsibility towards his six children whom he raised after the death of his wife. The series is based on a short story by the late writer Ihsan Abdel Quddous.

In cinema, Hala Shiha’s latest appearance was in the film "Mesh Ana" (Not Me), released in 2021, where she starred opposite Tamer Hosny.

The film also featured Majid Al-Kadwani, Eyad Nassar, Sawsan Badr, Sherine, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, and others.
