"Hanane Al-Loulou's Death" Ignites Social Media – Video Settles the Controversy

In a remarkable development that drew widespread public attention, Syrian actress Hanan Al-Loulou broke her silence to deny the rumors of her death that had circulated on social media in recent hours. These rumors followed her recent announcement that cancer had returned to her for the second time.
Hanan appeared in a touching video filmed from her room while lying in bed, accompanied by a Syrian journalist. In the video, she spoke about her current health condition and the number of remaining chemotherapy sessions, as signs of exhaustion and fatigue were clearly visible.
The video helped put an end to the rumors that had caused concern among her fans and followers. It also brought renewed attention to her health and personal struggles, pushing her name to trend in search engines both in Syria and abroad.
Artistic Support and Humanitarian Messages
Actress Suzan Najm Aldeen had previously launched an emotional plea via her official social media account, calling on her fans and colleagues in the artistic community to help Hanan Al-Loulou with her treatment expenses, which exceed her financial ability.
Najm Aldeen shared a heartfelt video of her visit to Al-Loulou, captioning it with a humanitarian message:
“I appeal to your humanity—and there’s so much of it—to help actress Hanan Al-Loulou and donate by contacting her directly in Syria.”
She added with visible emotion:
“Hanan is an artist who was once a star, a grieving mother who lost her son, and a grandmother who sacrificed her treatment to feed her grandchildren. Despite all the pain, she still dreams of life and longs for a chance to return to acting.”
Najm Aldeen concluded her message by saying:
“Dream and ask, my dear. Perhaps God will answer your cries through His kind-hearted servants. Let us all lend a helping hand in whatever way we can to bring you back to art and life.”
In turn, Hanan Al-Loulou expressed deep gratitude to Suzan Najm Aldeen for her ongoing support, and also thanked fellow artists Shukran Murtaja, Aml Arafah, and Rakan Tohmeesen Baik for their noble stances during her ordeal.
Illness Halts a Promising Career
Hanan Al-Loulou began her acting career in the late 1990s and delivered notable performances in popular series such as Korsi Al-Za’eem, Haret Khareg Al-Taghteyah, Psycho, and Shabab Star.
However, illness gradually distanced her from the screen, forcing her into an involuntary absence from the artistic scene in recent years as she fought a quiet battle against illness and harsh life circumstances.
