In his first media appearance since announcing his separation from his wife, media personality Maha Al-Soghair, Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka spoke about the matter with respect and kindness, emphasizing that their good relationship continues despite the separation.

El Sakka participated recently in the Arab Media Summit held in Dubai, where he appeared in a panel discussion moderated by journalist Nishan. He said, “I respect the mother of my children. She has been my lifelong companion, a noble woman who raised my children with the best upbringing. But fate did not favor us, and what God wills happens.”

El Sakka declined to end the discussion about his divorce when Nishan suggested doing so, adding, “No, why would I? We are still in contact, and there is absolutely no problem between us.”

Announcement of Separation and Post Deletion

El Sakka had officially announced his separation from Maha Al-Soghair on his Facebook page, explaining that the separation happened six months ago and the divorce was finalized two months ago. Later, he deleted the post from his account.

Behind the Separation

On her program, media presenter Basma Wahba revealed details about the announcement of the separation, explaining that she had contacted El Sakka by phone. He told her that the controversial posts were written by his sister before they were deleted.

El Sakka told Wahba that the only comment he wrote himself came after waking up to a large uproar on social media, which upset him deeply because he felt it concerned "the mother of his children."
